ALEX & ACCESSALEX and ACCESS both many great resoures available for teachers. ALEX has links to courses of study and lesson plans just to name a few. ACCESS shows what it has to offer for both the educator and the student.
Alex links you to different course of studies. Language Arts, Mathematics, and Health Education just to name a few. The varities of subjects are also given by grade level. The 6th grade level gives examples of recreational reading material.
ACCESS's goal of the distance learning plan is to create equity through additional educational offerings for all Alabama public high school students. This is exemplified in the educator and student relationship on ACCESS. For example, when the student needs assistance, he or she must contact the teacher. In the same way the student can not pick their own teacher. The teacher is designated from whatever school system you resigned in.
