Podcast Done By Students

I watched the podcast on technologically literate teacher. It was done by Dr. Strange and four of his summer students. He ask them the question, "What is a technologically literate teacher?" Nicole states, "How can a teacher expect his or her students to learn if he or she is not willing too." Dr.Strong point out,that the teacher must be willing to learn some kind of technology an order to teacher their students. Kitty agreed with Nicole that all teachers need to be willing to learn some type of technology for her student's sake.

They also pointed out how teachers don't have to know all about computers but they need to know something. Dana made the suggestion that the teacher needs to be willing to explore what they know about computers. Kitty pointed out that it's all about the altitude of the teacher. She stated, "That she was nervous about Dr. Strange's computer class." She said, "But she learned not to be afraid of making a mistakes, because making a mistake will make you better."

I thought that the podcast was good and very educator. For the most part I was looking for a more precise definition for technologically literate teacher. If I could define technologically literate teacher, I would say, "It is a teacher that is educated in techonolgy."
